Community Catalysts CIC

Community Catalysts is a social enterprise which aims to help people who need some support get a good life, by helping other local people and communities to provide imaginative care and support services. People may already be delivering a service or have a new idea that they need to turn into reality. The care and support they offer is always on a very small (micro) scale, really personal and often delivered in creative and quirky ways. The services are aimed at people who may need support or care because they are older, disabled, have ill health or are particularly vulnerable for some other reason. These services can be purchased by individuals funding their own care, or who have a Personal Budget. Community Catalysts are working in Southwark in partnership with Southwark Council and Community Action Southwark for the next 2 years.

Have you ever thought about running a support service for people who need extra help or support? Do you feel passionate about making a difference in your local community? If the answer is yes, you may like to consider setting up a very small enterprise on a voluntary or commercial basis. For more information please contact Micro-enterprise Co-ordinator Claudia who can offer you support on 07584 474542 or email claudia.gold@communitycatalysts.co.uk
