Have your say – mental health services in south east London
Do you care for someone with a mental health problem? Have you benefited from talking therapies? Do you get the support you need from mental health services.
The governors of South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM) are holding a series of meetings in the community for members of the public to have their say and find out more about what is going on locally to support people with mental illness. The meetings are aimed at the trust’s 13,000 members and anyone who uses SLaM’s services.
It is a great opportunity to give feedback or ask questions about your experiences and meet with members of the trust’s leadership team. Come along and have your say.
Each meeting will be chaired by a SLaM governor.
Follow up meetings will take place in Spring 2016.
How to get involved:
- Come along to a meeting : everyone is invited, and if you are currently using SLaM’s mental health or addictions services or have a friend or relative who is then we would especially like to hear from you.
- Share your ideas: if you have views you would like to share or questions you would like raised at the meetings please share them on twitter using the handle @maudsleynhs and #slamhaveyoursay
- There is no need to register, you can just turn up on the day. Refreshments will be provided. This is your chance to have your say and make a difference.
