Help keep Southwark housing waiting list updated
To help ensure the council’s housing waiting list is kept up-to-date, Southwark Council is calling on applicants to complete their re-registration form as soon as possible.
It takes just a few moments to complete, but if you don’t re-register you could find that your application will be terminated.
The form was posted to all applicants in August. The council is well on its way to making sure that the housing register accurately reflects the level of housing demand in Southwark, as well as the need of individual customers.
If any of the details on the form are inaccurate or incomplete applicants will need to fill in a change of circumstances form located on the council’s website.
Councillor Richard Livingstone, cabinet member for housing, said: “Thank you to everyone who has completed their re-registration.  I would encourage anyone who hasn’t yet filled in the form to do so as soon as they are able to do so.  If you need any help with this, please let us know.  It’s really important that the housing register is a true reflection of the present housing need in the borough.”
