International Day of Older Persons event, come down!

Celebrate the positive role of older persons in our society, hear what changes are happening to older people’s services, and join us for a free event at St. George’s Cathedral on Monday 1st October.

Southwark Pensioners Centre, AgeUK Lewisham & Southwark, and the Forum for Equalities and Human Rights in Southwark all invite you to a FREE event to celebrate International Day of Older Persons.

Date: October 1st 2012, 1 – 6pm

Location: Amigo Hall, St Georges Cathedral, Westminster Bridge Road, London, SE1 7HY

The event will be opened by Councillor Richard Livingstone

  • Equality and Human Rights Commission: Older people’s care and human rights
  • Ray Boyce: Head of Older People’s Services at Southwark Council
  • Department of Work and Pensions: Welfare reform and changes to pensions
  • Simon Hughes MP
