Potted History

The London Wildlife trust based have created a gardening and reminiscence project for the over 60s in the  borough.

Using a mobile garden they can visit care homes or local groups to work with people to sow seads, make lavender bags, smell the scent of flowers and herbs and reminisce about the good times over tea and biscuits.

The gardeners go out on Tuesday afternoons and the sessions usually last about 1.5 hours.

If you would like to get the gardeners in for a visit please call Mara Crippa, Community Project Officer on 020 7252 9786.
