Southwark Quality Champions Scheme
This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of the team of Quality Champions in Southwark. We are looking for 25 Quality Champions. You will be experts on what support should look like – 15 of you having direct experience of using services and 10 being family carers of people using services. You will be trained to do Quality Checks and you will be paid for this occasional work. The Champions will talk to people who get support about their experience and what they like or do not like about the support they receive from the services.
You need to have experience of receiving services (learning or other disabilities, mental health, older people, young adults) or caring for someone who uses the services. You need good communication, both written and verbal, some computer skills and to be able to work with the coordinators to do the Quality Checks.

Salary: £8,10 per hour
